The light source of the future

Conversion of street lighting to LED technology...

HIGH-LEVEL ENERGY EFFICIENCY – SAVES ELECTRICITY AND CO2

Through the conversion of municipal street lighting, we are making a significant contribution to saving energy and avoiding CO2 emissions.

SUSTAINABLE MUNICIPAL POLICIES – IMMEDIATE RELIEF FOR MUNICIPAL BUDGETS

The renovation of outdoor lighting systems brings a significant reduction of energy and maintenance costs, providing immediate relief for municipal budgets.

SAFETY: OPTIMAL DESIGN FREEDOM THROUGH PRECISE LIGHT GUIDANCE

Brighter streets for all road users and more light create a feeling of security and enjoy a great deal of acceptance with citizens while contributing to crime prevention. Lighting quality can be improved significantly using guided and efficient illumination of streets, squares, intersections, paths for pedestrians and bicycles as well as of car parks.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMPATIBILITY AND LONG SERVICE LIFE

In addition to a considerable CO2 reduction, there is no heavy metal pollution and the light has a neutral effect upon insects, which all adds up to a positive contribution to climate protection. The service life of LED luminaires is 50,000 operating hours or more. The LED modules require almost no maintenance, which dramatically reduces operating costs.

EUROPEAN ECODESIGN REGULATION – A NEED FOR ACTION

Antiquated fluorescent lamps (e.g. mercury-vapour lamps) may no longer be brought to market since the beginning of 2010 and in a few years, inefficient lamps will disappear from the market entirely. The EU implementation regulations (EU Ecodesign regulation) require all municipalities and businesses to phase out use of antiquated lighting technology over the period of time from 2010 to 2017. The objective is the implementation of energy saving measures in compliance with legally binding provisions. We are making the change – nothing good happens unless you do it.
